ROTFLMAO! Webgood Jeff please fix the picture. It looks like one of those kids cars! (You know – a Cozy Coupe) Doesn’t look muscle-y at all! But you do deserve to drive one at least once. Thanks for a good laugh…….it doesn’t take much sometimes…
I see Ford finally got the yellow right. The 1980 yellow Corvette with silver T-Roofs was my teenage crush. Things happened to me when I saw one that I would never DREAM of mentioning. Yes… I blushed. The blush of juvenile love.
And when tuned properly it would rumble like a summer thunderstorm in Arizona.
I’m taking it to New Hampshire on Friday. There was talk of a Lincoln, there was talk of a Cayenne. I can’t hear my Bluetooth in the Mustang, it’s a stick and I’ll hit traffic, there is no GPS, no Sirius radio, so it’s me and the thunder and my CDs. I can’t wait.
So, so awesome!!
My father spent 40 years at Ford. The last 20 he was teaching service schools and got company cars. Every summer it was a convertible Mustang GT, 8 litre, guy-magnet with that amazing rumble. I would take it every chance I got….did you ever go to Woodys? I would be in the front, with the car, and a bunch of guys who were more interested in it, than me, but I didn’t care.
I am so very jealous.
My teenage dorks (16 &19) were passing by the computer when I had the picture on the monitor. Lorraine, you are now the “cool” mom and I had to wipe up the drool from the lads. Have a great trip. How long are you gone for? I always love the tales of the boys while you are gone.
I live it too, my dorks are only one year younger than each of yours, plus we had a nephew living with us for a year. I could feel my ovaries starting to shrivel up from lack of other women under the same roof (the cats and dogs are all fixed).

You should hear this thing rumble. Shakes the windows…..

“Cool mom”? My sons would set them straight in a heartbeat…
Just the weekend. You may love the tales. I have to live them.
